Re: 144,00Bible Research, Unregistered We the Gentiles,(which is anyone who is not a Jew)are not included in this number. — LeilaniLeilani please consider the following scriptures based on your comment above. Please contact us if you have more questions or comments. But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile: For there is no respect of persons with God. Gentiles can become a Spiritual Jew, a Jew circumcised from the heart. For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God. Romans 2:10-11,28-29 Paul the Apostle to the Gentiles' call to the Saints in Rome. Among whom are ye also the called of Jesus Christ: To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 1:6-7 Again, Paul the Apostle to the Gentiles' message to the Colossians. Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: Colossians 1:12-14 9. 144,00Leilani, UnregisteredReading your comments, I question one's answer to the elected 144,000. This number is for the followers(Jews) that believe in Jesus til his second coming. We the Gentiles,(which is anyone who is not a Jew)are not included in this number. Jesus died that all men might be saved not just the 144,000. You see, the promises where to his people, the Jews first but because they had rejected him he made it possible for all of us to receive that great promise for everlasting life. 8. Re: Re: Re: What?Bible Research, Unregistered
This last statement is confusing, could you please clarify for me?
Some say that the 144,000 are are of the 12 ancient tribes of Israel. The ancient tribes of Israel were set up in Genesis and were under the law given by Moses. This occurred years before Christ was sent to the earth to be born of Mary.
In Revelation 14:1-4 it speaks of the 144,000 and it says "These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth." These 144,000 are Christians who follow the Lamb (Jesus Christ). Christians did not exist until after Christ. This is one reason why the 144,000 cannot be people from the 12 ancient tribes. The 144,000 (or Saints) will be assigned to 12 tribes as written in Revelation 7, but they cannot be ones from Moses' time.
Every person living after Jesus Christ's first coming (in which he brought a new covenant-the new testemant) has an oppurtunity to be a part of the 144,000 if they desire it.
It helps to understand that there are only 144,000 that will go to heaven. The rest of God's people will live forever on a perfect earth (The meek shall inherit the earth). This is a key to understanding what the Kingdom of God is. It is an actual Kingdom (like a Government) that will take care of the earth and it's people in righteousness after the second coming of Christ.

— Bible ResearchThis last statement is confusing, could you please clarify for me? Thanks 6. Re: What?Bible Research, UnregisteredHere some other verses that speak of the 144,000. Revelation 20:4-6, Daniel 7:18,27, 1 Corinthians 6:2-3. There are many more that speak of the 144,000, the Saints. The previous post says "it is obvious that the 144,000 are literal Jews of the ancient tribes". Is it obvious? The 12 twelve tribes mentioned in Revelation are not the same 12 tribes of israel that Moses wrote about in Genesis 49. God's people are no longer literal Jews, they are now spiritual Jews, see Romans 2:10-11, 28-29. The 144,000 are chosen from the time after Christ, "These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth." (Revelation 14:4). It is not correct to say they are literal jews of the ancient tribes, if they in fact followed after Christ?
5. What?Guest User, UnregisteredThis sounds like Jehovah's Witness Theology to me. The Watchtower organization states that through good works and sincere effort only 144,000 elite JW’s will go to heaven. The 144,000 are mentioned in two chapters in the Bible: Revelation 7 & 14. By looking at the verses it is obvious that the 144,000 are literal Jews of the ancient tribes with no Gentiles among them (7:4-8). They are all males (14:4) and virgins (14:4). If you say that the usage of Jewish male virgins is figurative, what gives you the right to state that number of 144,000 is literal? What about "the vast mulitude from every nation, tribe, people, and language, wich no one could number" (7:9)? I think you better work on your Hermeneutic.Deductive! Deductive! Deductive! Exegesis! Exegesis! Exegesis! 4. Re: 144,000Guest User, Unregisteredis it possible for the 144,00 to form a government, which they need others to govern??? — Guest User Jesus Christ and His Father, Jehovah God are the ones who form the government made up of 144,000 Saints. 3. 144,000Guest User, Unregisteredis it possible for the 144,00 to form a government, which they need others to govern??? 2. Who are the Saints?Guest User, UnregisteredThe saints are made up of all men or humans.
"There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus" (Galatians 3:28). KJV
"And believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women" (Acts 5:14). KJV
"For there is no respect of persons with God" (Romans 2:11). KJV
The saints are not defiled with false teachings of this harlot known as Babylon the great.
"And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters: With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication" (Revelation 17:1-2). KJV
1. 144,000?Guest User, UnregisteredThe Bible says they are male virgins. How can you reconcile this with the comment that they are "men and women who lived a life on the earth and whom Almighty God and His Son, Jesus Christ, are choosing to form a government for the new kingdom."?
