From the study on the 144,000, we have passed on what the scriptures say, in that 144,000 will go to heaven and they are selected by Christ since his preaching just over 2,000 years ago.

Understanding the 144,000 is a lengthy study, and first we must have an understanding of God's Holy Days and the plan that they show for man's salvation. The short answer is that every human being will in the end have a chance for salvation and a place in His Kingdom. The 144,000 saints mentioned are those who have qualified to become Christs Bride at His return, when He arrives on the sea of Glass to redeem them. They are the ones that have fit the job description set out in Proverbs 31 for the good wife. "Many have done well, but you have excelled them all." What that means is that we now have the privilege of going directly to Christ without an intercessor as was necessary during the Levitical Priesthood. This means no more formal authority between us and Christ. It is up to us to work out our own salvation with fear and trembling. Please do so! Pray hard, read God's word and do what you learn!

I believe that we can be perfect and stop sinning! The mainstream churches do not teach this truth. The road to life is very narrow and few find it. This is what seperates the True christians from the non-believers or babylonians parading around as christians. If I am told over and over that I am a no good worthless sinner, than that is what I will eventually believe and continue in sin thinking that all will be forgiven. By continuing to live in sin, we are denying the Power of God to change us and raise us up to walk in newness of life! Praise Jehovah! I have read many of your commentaries on these subjects, and I truly feel that this was not given to you in understanding through the Holy Spirit. You have used human interpretation to write these things. I suggest you seek Father and get a divine revelation of understanding of what these scriptures mean, before posting them. And by all means test the spirit that gives you this knowledge. 1John 4

There are two groups of 144,000 mentioned in the bible. The group in Rev. 7 are jews and are on earth. The second group in Rev.14 are Christians since they have "his name (the Lamb) and his Father's name written on their foreheads". Although this is a a scene in heaven, they too will be here on earth when Jesus returns since they "follow the Lamb wherever he goes". NOWHERE in the bible does it say that these are the only ones to go to heaven, in fact, John is in heaven when he records this.

The 144,000 are the only ones called out as being reedemed from the earth. This is why it is correct to teach they are the only ones going to heaven. I challenge anyone visiting this site to prove with the Bible that there are more than 144,000 going to heaven.

Revelation 14:1-4 says the 144,000 saints go to heaven because they are redeemed from the earth. They are Christians in vs. 4.

Here is a short explanation of why we are saying that the 144,000 are chosen from mankind (men and women) after Christ's death and are chosen from ALL nations, not just the Jews from Israel.

1st point: Who is Israel?
A Jew was recognized by one who followed the Mosaic Law and was circumcised by the covenants given to Abraham and Moses. Since the death and resurrection of God's Son, God's people are called from all nations. Today, God's people are recognized as Christians, followers of God's Son, Jesus the Christ.

2nd point: who are the 144,000?
Through a series of scriptures we can conclude that the 144,000 are chosen from men and women of all nations.

The 144,000 were redeemed from the earth, meaning they were resurrected through the blood of Christ. The 144,000 follow the Lamb and the Lamb is Christ (John 1:36). Those who follow the Christ are Christians. Virgins are those not defiled with false religion. This does not mean literal virgins or else the Apostle Peter could not qualify as he had a wife (Matthew 8:14).

During Jesus' time the twelve tribes did exist and still to this day.Why even mention each tribe by name in revelations if they are spiritual jews. The gentiles have always been refered to as gentiles when mentioned, even being adopted into Gods' family. The 144,000 are jews for a special purpose that was designed from creation for this day. Try actually reading the whole bible and try other versions as well to get a good research look.

Listen I think you need to go back and read about the 144,000 it clearly states they are choosen from the 12 tribes of Isreal. You have your information wrong and it does sound like Jehovah's Witness mess. they will not be the only ones going to heaven!

I believe the above quotation will help answer your question regarding what a saint does while he is waiting for his brethren to be resurrected. Are not all saints sealed at the same time?
