The Bible contains facts of prophesies being fulfilled. A prophecy simply is a foretold event. The ancient writings, manuscripts, and letters inspired by Jehovah God's holy spirit, helped men to record prophesies and their fulfillment. Many foretold events surround Jesus Christ and his first coming. Prophets of the Old Testament wrote of events to watch for, these signifying the arrival of the Christ. While Jesus Christ preached during his first coming, he taught of various prophesies and their fulfillment. There are also scientific facts that agree with the Bible.

Matthew 24:3-7, 29-39 Jesus explains what will be happening at the end of the world. World events of approximately the last 100 years parallel what Christ said would happen during the end times. Wars, famines, pestilences and earthquakes have always existed, but have they occurred with such frequency as today? Jesus also warns his followers to be prepared by watching for his second coming. Those watching won't be caught off guard like people were in the days of Noah.
