What is the difference between Soul and Spirit? |

The soul refers to an individual, whether one is a living soul or a dead soul. The spirit is the breath of life, which an individual uses to breathe while they are living, and is returned to God at death. (See Genesis 2:7, Ecclesiastes 12:7.)
