Page 3 of 6 31. Re: Book of lifeGuest User, UnregisteredI believe that once saved always saved is scriptural. No it is not a ticket to sin ,but if you are truly saved you will want to follow his laws. I believe that is the question here. The works you do on earth are only for his glory not for your salvation. Read Eph. 2:8-9 For by grace are you saved thou faith it is the gift of God lest any may should boast. So in other words if you are truly saved you can not lose your salvation. — Guest UserSorry I did not quote the whole verse. It is the gift of God not of works lest any man should boast 30. Re: Leps LadyBK2, Bible Research, UnregisteredIf it was not possible to be blotted out of the book of life, God would not have warned us about it. But He does.
We are all born into sin. In order to be saved, each of us must endure to our end. "But the one who endures to the end, he shall be saved." (Matthew 24:13, Mark 13:13) 28. LepsLadyGuest User, UnregisteredI would like to say a few things on this subject..... Although we are born in sin ,a newborn has committed no sin therefore they are in the book of life.... until the age of accountability. They are innocent. If you do not agree then I guess that means all babies go to hell.(in your opinion)Now once a child knows they are sinning I believe their name can be blotted HOWEVER I believe that once a person accepts Christ as their Savior they are forever in the book of life. "...Neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father who gave them me, is greater than all, and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. I and the Father are One." John 10:28-30
Now... no man means NO MAN not even yourself ! Should we continue in sin after knowing that? God forbid! People lets remember our God is not some deity sitting on a heavenly throne waiting to bashing you in the head for everything you do wrong! He is quick to forgive. I wish I had hours to break it all down but I dont... PLEASE research this for yourself and ask the Holy spirit to lead you to understanding.Just remember NO MAN (including yourself) can pluck you from HIS HANDS! God Bless and Take Care 27. Book of lifeGuest User, Unregistered(Luke 10:20) Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.
I do believe that your name is written in the lambs book of Life when you receieve salvation! Also the parable of the lost sheep lets us know how important it is for us to stay in Gods will !! 26. Dr. AGuest User, Unregistered"So are you saying that my "life" can separate me from God's love? Because no one would be saved! Because we "all" fall short of the glory of God... daily. How bad do I have to be before God blots my name?"
Nothing can separate you fron God's love. But your life can separate you from God. Your sins can separate you from God. Actually, when Jesus died on the cross, and asked God why He had forsaken Him, God didn't love Jesus any less. God turned His back on sin and not on Jesus. God's love is eternal. The bible says that God desires that no one should perish and He gives every opportunity to live in righteousness through Jesus. So to answer your question, there is nothing physically so bad that will get your name blotted out as long as you repent of that pparticular sin and ask God for forgiveness, He's there to for give you. However, if you choose not to walk in His way and accept His sacrifice of Jesus as atonement for your sins then yes, you do run the risk of being blotted out of the Book of life.

I have found no scripture that defines at what time or point in a persons life or after death that the persons name is entered in the Lambs Book of Life. All of Revelation should be studied and especially Ch. 13 and verse 8. Revelation 13:8 All who dwell upon the earth will worship him, whose names are not written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. The above verse indicates that peoples names are entered in the Lambs Book during their life and when would be a more logical time than at the time they accept Jesus Christ. 23. Re: Books of LifeBernie Kern c/o Bible Research, AdministratorI like to think of myself as a spiritual Jew (Romans 2:28-29) but I am not Jewish raised or born.
We used to have a blog tab on this site and I would consider setting it up again pending your testimony. You may send it or write me directly at

Thanks for visiting our site. 22. Books of LifeGuest User, UnregisteredThanks Bernie; I believe there will be people in Heaven from all walks of life. With your name I would have guessed you are Jewish and you may be, no problem. Reminds me of in 1977; my boss sent me a memo advising a Mr. Felder would be coming as a trainee for some time with me. I thought jokingly to myself "I didn't know that Jews would work for what we are paid". Well Mr Felder called in a few days and even tho he spoke very eloquently, I could tell he was a Black nan. We hit it off very, very well and I even related my thoughts to him about thinking he was Jewish, He replied "I am and I am the only Christian in my entire family". Wow, what a revelation. He told me a very interesting story about the Black Jews in Africa and their coming to America. I see that you are an adminstrator; I would like to post my testimony which is about 1 3/4 typed pages long; what do you think???
