Are You Saved? PDF Print E-mail
Written by Bernie Kern

are you saved.jpgThe topic of being saved is one you have probably heard often if you have had much exposure to so-called Christian denominations. But what does being saved really mean and how does that come about? Perhaps you are familiar with the account in Acts 16:23-34 where the jailer of Paul and Silas asked them the question, “What must I do to be saved?” Paul answered, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you shall be saved…” If believing is a part of being saved, a person must find out what that involves.

Who is Bible Research? PDF Print E-mail
Written by Bernie Kern

Who is Bible Research is a common question we find here on our website. Some think we have associations with the Jehovah Witnesess and we do not. We are followers of Jesus Christ, and consider him our King, as is taught in the Bible. Here is some information about the ministry we preach, along with a summary about us and the information we pass on to others.

3 Days And 3 Nights PDF Print E-mail
Written by Bernie Kern
Sunday, 30 August 2009

Christ said he would be in the grave 3 days and 3 nights. Christendom teach to observe Good Friday regarding Christ's death and Easter Sunday regarding Christ's resurrection. However, that is only 2 nights. What the Bible really teaches about the time of Christ's death and resurrection is a LITTLE KNOWN FACT OF THE BIBLE.

Why does mankind experience suffering and death? PDF Print E-mail
Written by John Crawmer
Sunday, 12 July 2009

If you've ever been exposed to the current events of the world through our many media outlets, then you've surely been a witness to the hardships the human race experiences. And, perhaps you too have experienced trials and difficulties living in this present world.

Have you ever been curious why mankind experiences these things? Perhaps you find yourself questioning your existence and purpose, or are simply frustrated at a situation you're dealing with. Well, it's really quite simple.

Do you recall a story about a man and a woman who lived long ago? Their names were Adam and Eve. A simple quotation from the following Bible verse should help answer some of our questions, "And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat. And the LORD God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat. And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life: And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee. And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life; Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field; In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return" (Genesis 3:12-19 KJV).

Wether you believe the Bible or not, as a fellow human it should be easy to identify hardships in your life, and that, ultimately a day of rest will come. A rest taken in the dust of the earth.

Are you looking for answers? Christ taught the Kingdom of God, that is why he was sent to the earth (see Luke 4:43). What is the Kingdom of God? Do you even need to know? Christ thought it important enough that he was crucified for it.

Can we help you find the truth or expound on it? Please call us for friendly discussion about the truth in the Bible. Our phone number is (719) 573-4055. You will receive a recorded message about the Kingdom of God. After the recording please leave your name and number if you would like to discuss the scriptures with us. Someone from Bible Research will contact you shortly. We have learned much and are continuing to learn more and would like to share information with others who are interested. All information is free. We do not preach for money. We are searching for others who want to serve Jesus the Christ and His Father and would like to talk and learn more about them.
