Page 3 of 3 5. were all guna dieGuest User, Unregisteredthe concept of "god" is interpreted by man,has been sooo varied throughout the ages, that the simplest of men accepts the deffinition witch suits him best.as for the earth being inhabited forever what do you think selfish races of humilty hav done to other dead planets in our solersystem to think they wer 1nce lush an ubunndant as ours.i take time in living life 2 my fullest bro maybe u shld live it up instead of living anutha hopless homo life n a card board box thinkin its all ok as long as gods got my "back"!!!! 4. cowgiwiBible Research, UnregisteredI think the scripture you are thinking of is 2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
Notice that is says the elements will melt and the works will be burned up. It means that the system and wickedness of this word will perish. Just like in verses 6 and 7 where it says the world before was destroyed by the flood, and this present world will be desroyed by fire. The flood destroyed the elements and the wickedness that was in the world, but not the planet earth itself. Christ's second coming will be the same way.
Ecclesiastes 1:4 said the earth abides forever.
With 2 Peter 3:10 and Ecclesiatses 1:4 we have to reason these two scriptures together and understand God's word instead of our own interpretation. The world will be destroyed by fire, but the earth will survive so that in can inhabit God's people forever.
That is a great promise. Despite the trouble we see coming, Jehovah God will protect his people and has a plan for us to live forever. 3. cowgiwiGuest User, UnregisteredI'm not sure where, but in revelation it says "the the earth will burn with fervent heat". The bible interprets itself diferently to diferent people. But what does that interpret into? 2. reply to "were all guna die"Guest User, UnregisteredIf I had not taken the time to try and understand and see if the Bible is in fact true I may think the way you are thinking, in general, that mankind will destroy the earth. However, I have taken the time to study the Bible. I have learned that the Bible and what religions teach is different. I have learned that the governments of this world do not take care of the people. I have learned that God and his son have promised a new kingdom (government). I have learned that the earth was created to be inhabited forever. All I can say is take the time to see for your self. Don't live the rest of your life thinking you will blow up with the earth. 1. were all guna dieGuest User, Unregisteredi think that within the next 30 to 40 years the earth will hav no oil left to cool down the core causing our earth to heat up and then blow up from the inside.and i think this because the tuatara in the last 150 years we have been recording them thay hav not yet mated.....untill now they survived wot killd all the dinosors and it takes 20 years for a baby tuatara to mature to hav more babys so if every tuatara is mating ther numbers wil triple and i think ther mating to survive the next devastation
