The Bible book of revelation refers to a group known as the 144,000. These 144,000 creatures are also known as saints. These saints are men and women who lived a life on the earth and whom Almighty God and His Son, Jesus Christ, are choosing to form a government for the new kingdom. The same kingdom Jesus Christ preached about.
A special opportunity came when Jesus Christ, the Son of God was crucified. He fulfilled the law - an old agreement, or covenant which Moses taught. Instead, a new agreement has now been revealed to mankind through the preaching of Jesus Christ and His Apostles, it is now understood that some people will become a spirit creature, or saint. The saints will make up a special government to direct the new kingdom in perfect righteousness and judgment.
You may ask, "What is the purpose of God only allowing 144,000 people to heaven?" or, "Is not this unfair to all the people who lived before Jesus Christ? Only allowing those who lived after his death to be allowed into heaven?" You may also ask, "If only 144,000 people go to heaven, what will everybody else do?" For answers to these questions, and others, please contact us for additional Bible verses to help prove or disprove these ideas. We encourage discussion and look forward to hearing from you!
144,000 - The Saints
Matthew 11:11 The least of the saints is greater than John the Baptist. How? Saints are spiritual creatures that will rule from heaven with Jesus Christ, John the Baptist will be a man dwelling on the earth. Although a great man, he will not be a saint.
Luke 16:16 John the Baptist preached the coming of the Messiah. Jesus Christ preached the coming of the new kingdom and how to be part of it. (Press = Work towards)
Revelation 14:1-4 The saints are made up of people who once lived on the earth.
Revelation 20:4-6 The saints will rule with Christ, judgment is given to them.
Daniel 7:18,27 The kingdom is given to the saints, it will last forever.

They are Christians in vs. 4. — Guest UserThe 144,000 are the only ones called out as being reedemed from the earth. This is why it is correct to teach they are the only ones going to heaven. I challenge anyone visiting this site to prove with the Bible that there are more than 144,000 going to heaven. 19. Re: 144000Bernie Kern c/o Bible Research, Bible Research AdministratorDuring Jesus' time the twelve tribes did exist and still to this day.Why even mention each tribe by name in revelations if they are spiritual jews. The gentiles have always been refered to as gentiles when mentioned, even being adopted into Gods' family. The 144,000 are jews for a special purpose that was designed from creation for this day. Here is a short explanation of why we are saying that the 144,000 are chosen from mankind (men and women) after Christ's death and are chosen from ALL nations, not just the Jews from Israel. 1st point: Who is Israel? A Jew was recognized by one who followed the Mosaic Law and was circumcised by the covenants given to Abraham and Moses. Since the death and resurrection of God's Son, God's people are called from all nations. Today, God's people are recognized as Christians, followers of God's Son, Jesus the Christ. See Galatians 3:14, Romans 2:11, 28-29, Romans 9:23-25 2nd point: who are the 144,000? Through a series of scriptures we can conclude that the 144,000 are chosen from men and women of all nations. The 144,000 were redeemed from the earth, meaning they were resurrected through the blood of Christ. The 144,000 follow the Lamb and the Lamb is Christ (John 1:36). Those who follow the Christ are Christians. Virgins are those not defiled with false religion. This does not mean literal virgins or else the Apostle Peter could not qualify as he had a wife (Matthew 8:14). See Revelation 14:3-4 The 144,000 are called Saints and they are redeemed by Christ's blood. They also come from all nations and are made kings and priests to Christ. See Revelation 8:8-10 From Revelation 8 the Saints are made kings and priests to Christ. Here they are of the seven churches, again pointing out they are Christians from all nations. See Revelation 1:4-6. You have your information wrong and it does sound like Jehovah's Witness mess. they will not be the only ones going to heaven! 14. Re: saints and sinnersGuest User, Unregistered[quote=Guest User]how is one a saint if all were born sinners? All mankind has sinned. Only Jesus the Christ is without sin. Read (1John 1:7-9) If one desires to become a saint he must acknowledge & forsake his sins, then they are forgiven him through the blood of Christ. If they are forgiven then the sin no longer exists and one has a chance to become a saint. Paul called himself a chief sinner for pursecuting Christians. (1 Timothy 1:15-16) And Paul will be one of the saints. 13. saints and sinnersGuest User, Unregisteredhow is one a saint if all were born sinners? 12. Re: Mr.John Crawmer, Bible ResearchAfter one of the 144,000 are sealed what does he do for God while the other ones are being sealed. Think about it. He knows who he is. He has know idea about how long he will wait until the last one is sealed. He knows he isn't perfect and he also knows that he has to become more christ like. — David RogersRevelation 6:9-11 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled. I believe the above quotation will help answer your question regarding what a saint does while he is waiting for his brethren to be resurrected. Are not all saints sealed at the same time? I am confused by the last sentence of this comment. Could you please support your statement with a scripture? (I am familiar with Revelation 7:1-8) Thank You. 11.
