Almighty God Jehovah is from everlasting to everlasting (Psalm 90:2). Long before our time, God devised a plan and created His Only Begotten Son, Jesus, who was the firstborn of every creature. Together, the Father and His Son created everything else in the universe, including mankind, as is evidenced in Genesis 1:26. After man had been in existence for some time, God sent Jesus to earth to bring a message of hope and a new covenant to mankind. When Jesus completed this job that his Father gave him, he was crucified, raised back to life by his Father, and returned to be with his Father again in heaven where he had been before coming to earth. To read more about the endearing relationship of Jesus and God His Father (the respect that Jesus has for his own Father Jehovah and the delight the Father had in His Son) which began even before the rest of the creation was made, see Proverbs 8:22-36.
Who is Jesus Christ?
Revelation 3:14 God's creation began with His son Jesus. Revelation 1:5 proves this "faithful witness" is His Son.
John 8:58 Christ existed before Abraham, which proves that he was around long before he was born into a fleshly body in Bethlehem.
Colossians 1:12-18 God created Jesus in His own image, as a separate being. By Jesus, God created everything and everyone, including the angels. Jesus is second in command to His Father in the hierarchy of all things. Together they provide a perfect witness to mankind.
John 6:62, 38 Jesus clearly states that he was going to return where he had come from before. He testifies that His Father sent him for a purpose.
John 17:1, 4-5, 20-21, 24 Jesus loves his Father, and obeyed Him by fulfilling His Father's purpose. Jesus also loves the disciples that His Father has given him, and prays for them, that we believe that the Father sent Jesus the Son to earth. Their relationship existed long before mankind was created.

The Holy Spirit is the comforter given to us by Christ which helps us to understand the Word of God. Too many times we see man struggle with the meaning of the Bible when it is not intended to be difficult. Ecclesiastes 12:12-14 is a good one to remember. 12And further, by these, my son, be admonished: of making many books there is no end; and much study is a weariness of the flesh. 13Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. 14For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil. 9. gods nameGuest User, UnregisteredIf jehovah from YHWH is suppose to be Gods' name then what does Israel mean. Re: The Lord commantmentBernie Kern, Super AdministratorCan you tell me the Lord commandment that He gives us ? — RHello and thanks again for visiting our site. These are the scriptures that come to mind regarding your question. If you had something different that you are alluding to, please let us know. Matthew 22:37-39 (KJV) See also Mark 12:28-31 "Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself." 7. Re: Where did the name Jesus come fromBernie Kern, Super AdministratorThe name Immanuel is given to the Christ , where did the name Jesus come from and can you tell me the name of the Father ? — RJesus is the name of the Son of God. He was named Jesus in Matthew 1:21 (KJV) "And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins." Verse 21 is the prophesy fulfilled from Isaiah 7:14 and confirmed in verses 22-23 of Matthew 1 "Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us." Jesus is the Greek form of Joshua and comes from the Hebrew word Yahshua. The word Jesus is commonly used in the English translation. Jehovah is the name of God (Jesus Christ's Father). The name Jehovah was given to the prophets in the Old Testament "That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth." (Psalm 83:18 KJV) Jehovah is the English translation of the Tetragrammaton form YHWH, the name of God in the Hebrew Bible. There is a lot of confusion and strife in the world about the actual pronunciation of the name of God and the name of God's Son. We at Bible Research teach the importance of listening to what Jesus the Christ said. He is the Word of Jehovah God and he brought a message about the Kingdom of God. We must listen to him and revere him in order to be saved. Acts 3:20-23 KJV "And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you: Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began. For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you." It is important to understand the Name of God and the Name of His Son, see Proverbs 30:4. It is what they had to say that makes their name and who they are important. Just knowing the name of Jesus, Emmanuel, or Yahshua does not mean automatic salvation according to what Christ said in Matthew 7:21-29 (KJV). "Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it. And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine: For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes." 6. — Guest UserHello. Thank you for visiting our site. I did not not understand this part of your question "...then the god of this world which was a being in darkness the God of the hebrew because this God confesses of the Light...". Please clarify what you are trying to say or provide us a scripture supporting what you are saying. I can answer the part of your question about our testimony in regards to Jesus the Christ as the light. Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. (John 8:12 KJV) For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. (2 Corinthians 4:5-6 KJV) Jesus the Christ is that light which shines on those who understand or want to understand the Word of God. Please clarify your question to us. 2. Re: Honor?Bernie Kern, Super AdministratorSince Jesus is judge of all, how do we honor him? — Guest UserHonor is like to give glory or respect. In your question, "how do we honor him (Jesus)" I would use this scripture, John 5:22-23 For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him. We need to recognize that to honor Jesus is to honor His Father, Jehovah God. Then, in order to honor both the Son and the Father is through obedience. God said to listen to His Son, and His Son, Jesus Christ had a lot to say. Acts 3:20-23 And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you: Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began. For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you. And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people. 1.
